Nakamichi

Co‑founder | Design Lead

Born in Japan, Nakamichi pursued environmental design and spent a decade at a global firm, where he honed his systems thinking and material clarity. Now residing in a forest, he embraces a ZEN mindset, focusing on reducing noise, honoring nature, and allowing function to dictate form. At Wavy Wood Studio, he seamlessly integrates rigorous practice with a calm living approach, crafting spaces that exude essential, modern, and enduring qualities.

Lin Chen

Project Manager

Lin has delivered hospitality and residential interiors from concept to handover. During COVID‑19, she kept multi‑vendor projects moving with scheduled Zoom check ins, virtual site walks, and bilingual client reviews. She built live RFI and submittal trackers, enforced version control, and coordinated deliveries across time zones, holding budgets and timelines when sites were restricted.

The team brings together designers, storytellers, and makers who blend South Asian inspired warmth with a modern global eye, turning compact footprints into calm, high‑end living.
